Where to get Amazon Affiliate API Access Key and Secret API Secret Access Key

Go to this url:
https://affiliate-program.amazon.com/gp/flex/advertising/api/sign-in.html
Login with your normal amazon login information.
Complete the short application process to apply to the amazon advertising api. You should be taken to a Success page which looks like the one below (showing that you did 1 & 2 and you are not at 3). Note, if you had previously completed step 3 then you will not get the option to apply again, instead you will be taken directly to the success page below.

Go to this url:
https://console.aws.amazon.com/iam/home?#security_credential
Login with your normal amazon login information.
You will be redirected to another page after the login. (If a pop up appears, click to close it)

Click on the little plus on the tab that says “Access Keys (Access Key ID and Secret Access Key)”
You will notice that the api keys section will be expanded and show you a list of your current keys.

You are allowed a maximum of 2 active keys. If you already have two keys then click on Delete next to one of them to delete it.
Click on the button that says “Create New Access Key”

A little pop over will appear that says “Your access key (access key ID and secret access key) has been created successfully.”

Click on the link that says “Show Access Key”
Now copy your new api key and secret key and save them in a safe place – your keys will be different from mine.
